Peter Buckley - Partner

After graduating with a degree in Accounting and Finance and a year's experience with accountants Goldwyns, Peter entered the City in 1985. At SG Warburg he specialised in Japanese Equities, living in Japan and London before becoming responsible for International distribution. In 1995 he joined Deutsche Bank to develop a new distribution segment for the equity business focusing on European clients. Over the last 12 years Peter has made a number of smaller sized private equity investments. He has been a non-executive director of two of those investments and the lead investor in four.

Diarmid Ogilvy MBA - Partner

After graduating from Princeton University, Diarmid joined SG Warburg as an analyst. He then moved with his team to Deutsche Bank, where he was a European Equity Strategist with particular expertise in valuation techniques. After completing his MBA at INSEAD in 1999, Diarmid joined L'Oréal where he gained operational experience as International Product Manager for the largest franchise of Lancôme. He has spent the last nine years in the alternative asset industry, managing the portfolios of a substantial multi-family office and as a Managing Director at UBS. He joined Beaubridge in July 2007.

Jonathan Seal - Partner

Jonathan joined in January 2011 from CB Richard Ellis, where as an Executive Director he headed up the Residential Development Agency, responsible for providing UK and International developers with advice on every step of the development process. After leaving the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester Jonathan spent 6 years as a director of both Savills and Hampton & Sons, based in the UK, Europe and the Far East. In 1992 he joined Cluttons LRA as an equity director, and the company subsequently bought Hamptons International. In 1996 he set up Hamptons International's Development & Investment business, which as Managing Director he grew into a national and international development sales and consultancy operation.

Richard Simpson ACA - Partner

After graduating from Oxford University, Richard qualified as an ACA with Price Waterhouse. He then spent 6 years at Morgan Grenfell at the height of its dominance of UK M&A. In 1992 he left the City and completed an MBI of Prices Candles (now successfully exited) and subsequently completed a number of other turnaround focused investments in the retail and real estate sectors. He joined Beaubridge as a co-founder in February 2005.

Simon Marshall

SImon joined in April 2011 from the direct capital business of D.E. Shaw & Co, where he spent 3 years building a mezzanine and equity finance business in the UK mid-market. Prior to that, he served as Director in the Structured Property Finance business of Lloyds Banking Group, focusing on investment and development transactions in the UK. During a ten-year tenure with Lloyds, Simon held senior positions in the project finance and energy finance units, including a secondment to a UK energy markets venture. He also worked in the firm's wholesale banking division, acting as a project manager on a number of strategic initiatives. Simon received his B.A. and M.A. from Magdalene College, Cambridge University.

Michael Joseph - Non-Executive Director

After graduating from Oxford in 1978, Michael spent nine years at 3i as an Investment Director before joining LDC in 1987. He spent 19 years at Lloyds including eight as the CEO of LDC and four as head of the Bank's Structured Finance division. He subsequently spent just under four years working for the US hedge fund D.E.Shaw & Co and established a mezzanine capital business for them in London.
